The world of Stories of Silk & Steel was born from my love of emotionally immersive storytelling. I wanted to create a universe that blended luxury, danger, romance, power, and emotional vulnerability in a way that felt cinematic and addictive.
In this world, billionaires, political figures, mafia organizations, corporate dynasties, and hidden enemies collide beneath the polished surface of wealth and influence. But at its core, the series is always about relationships and emotional connection.
Every setting is intentional. The penthouses. The gala events. The Mediterranean coastlines. The executive boardrooms. The private security details. The late-night strategy meetings. These environments are designed to heighten both emotional intimacy and emotional danger.
I approach storytelling visually, almost like directing scenes for film. I think about lighting, atmosphere, silence, tension, body language, pacing, and emotional subtext while writing. That cinematic approach heavily influences the emotional tone of my books and audiobooks.
The title Stories of Silk & Steel represents the emotional duality within the series. Silk represents softness, intimacy, beauty, desire, and emotional connection. Steel represents power, control, survival, loyalty, and emotional protection. My characters constantly move between those two worlds.
And honestly? That tension is where the magic happens.
